Hello everyone, I have created a new application called FileCopyBackup using Python 3.4 and the Tkinter module to create the GUI.
I created this application to make the task of copying a file to a certain save destination over and over less tedious. I was inspired to create this after having my Dark Souls save game become corrupted and I feel the need to create multiple backup for such game everytime I play. I figure it would be less tedious if I can do this in a few clicks instead of navigating to my save folder everytime, then navigating to the folder I want to save my file in. I created two backup buttons so I can save one copy somewhere on my hard disk and the other copy will be uploaded to Dropbox.
This application can also have its settings be saved so you can load it up with your preferences saved so you don't have to continuously browse for the file you want to save over and over. You can also save your own custom preset instead of just the default. Files that you save can be either overwritten or add to a new folder with a timestamp depending on your settings and preferences.
Check out FileCopyBackup here.
If you like the source code, check it out on GitHub.
